"A tree is the singularity of a wild jungle"

I said previously that a picture is worth a hundred words, so what are multiple pictures worth?

To me thats what the art of collage can achieve, expressing a thousand ideas and perspectives through one piece. Its as though you pick one tree and grow a jungle out of it. I still think it's a very under rated practice that many people see as to simplistic or easy to be considered a piece of art. The reality of it though is that those who don't practice are scared of not mastering it to make it look artistic. If collage is mastered it becomes one of the most intriguing and mind twisting material used in art.

From fashion collages to Interior design mood boards, this method is a way of visualising subject matters and allows the eye to make connections which were previously ignored. This gives life to new innovative ideas and triggers the imagination to create great things. In the art industry at least, this is used as a stimuli for clients and designers to accomplish projects and come up with concepts. I believe more people should apply this technique to their daily thought processes to loosen the mind and look for new meanings to old ideas.

Collage not only inspires but it creates. Creates new images from old ones giving life to very different perspectives which simple still life drawing can not achieve. It allows the artist to mix all his ideas into one and doesn't restrict him to one subject matter. Which is often the problem:
