"Creativity knows no time, no place"

No matter where you are or what you are doing and with who, the creativity within you will always follow. After and 8 hour flight half way across the world, where the temperature is a little chillier, I find myself inspired and my creativity flourishes.

I believe that as an artist, travelling; that could even be 5 meters out of your driveway, is the key to having an endless supply of inspiration. Just the simple change of scenery can even help you see what is missing in your current work and what you need to change. If you are anything like me, you know that an artist is never satisfied with their work, it can always be improved. Exploring a new environment can be the starting point of that improvement. As soon as I am surrounded by a new dynamic I feel like I can grow as an artist again and discover new skills that I previously didn't know I had. The simple atmosphere and way of life of other individuals is enough to start a whole new project for me.

Of course, going to local museums of whatever place your visiting can be very helpful, it by far doesn't mean that the city and architecture that surrounds it is not as spectacular. In fact, sometimes I find it even more incredible than ordinary museums.

All this to say that it takes only a change of scenery to give life to new ideas. It doesn't have to be another country, state or city; it can just be the street opposite yours or a forest you have never been to.

As long as it is new and unknown to your eyes, creativity will flourish from it, there is no doubt about it.
