If you are a sympathiser of the "hustle culture" then this blog post might not be the one for your, but I would hope that after some social distancing you also learnt how to distance yourself from your "hustle" addiction. I am not trying to insult those who enjoy working or those that don't have a choice to work countless hours to bring bread to the table. However, can we all agree that some time off has done us all some good. Sure, some may be enjoying it less than others. Even I found that in the darkest times there is always a silver lining. For instance I found a new passion for yoga and got to re-vamp my cooking skills.

Let's just take a few lines to address this "hustle culture". A culture that has made under-eye circles a new facial feature and our right hand fit around the to-go coffee cup. But for what ? People may have become more productive but at the cost of falling out of touch with their sleep schedule, family relationships and nature. Those are the things that really matter in life, the things that make living an adventure. Your work shouldn't exhaust you, it should exhilarate you and make you feel like you're adding value to your life and that of others. Now don't go quit your job because you had a bad day and don't feel motivated but do take a minute to re-evaluate the work decisions you have made on a bigger scale. Also take some time off, it has literally been handed to you on a silver platter by the universe. Take the time to explore new things, or read that article you set aside last year or catch up with family you've fallen out of touch with.

Take the chill pill with a big gulp of water and don't feel guilty about letting the effects of it kick in. Everyone is in the same boat so you are not missing out on any hustling opportunities. Relax and keep your distance from the "hustle culture".
